The Evolution Of MW Vehicle Contracts

Started by Mark Williams in 2003, MW Vehicle Contracts has now developed into one of the most respected organisations within the motor leasing sector. Steadily growing the business over the years into what it is now, Mark has made sure that the interests of both customers and employees are at the heart of how things are done. Something that is shown in the success of the organisation, the long standing relationships with funders and suppliers and the number of employees who have had long and successful careers with MW Vehicle Contracts.

We work as a close team with everyone respected for what they bring to the business, regardless of their role or position.

June 2003

Mark Williams starts the business naming it MW Vehicle Contracts. Trading from a small office next to the post office in the small village of Billesdon, Leicestershire.

July 2003

Funder number 1. MWVC partners up with the first of our 5 top funders, Leaseplan. A partnership which quickly grew in strength and is still going strong today.

Sept 2003

As the business starts to grow Mark needs some help and takes on the first MWVC employee.

November 2004

Sarah Condon joins the small but growing team. Sarah still works for the business to this day providing valuable support to the admin department and maintaining our customer database.

November 2004

David Palmer joins the business as a sales person. David will later progress within the business to his current role of Operations Director.

December 2004

More room is needed and the business moves to a bigger office Unit 9 Park Farm Business Park.

March 2005

First website is launched. Simple but effective, the first website helps take the business to the next level.

May 2006

More employees and more business means we needed to move again. Just a few doors up this time to our current address unit 24 Park Farm Business Park.

April 2009

Funder number 2. As the business continues to grow another funder comes on board. MWVC and Lex Autolease join forces and again continue to have a great relationship to the present.

January 2010

Salesperson Martin Johnson joins the business. Martin will go on to become the Sales Director in 2020 and is still very much involved in fulfilling his customers’ needs today. Making sure he still is the main point of contact for all his existing customers.

March 2010

We need more room again! No moving this time. We just made the office bigger with an extension roughly doubling the size.

May 2010

Michael Christmas joins the team as an administrator and advances on to his current role of Customer Relations Manager. A position we are very proud of and shows our dedication to our customers and providing the best level of service possible.

November 2013

Funder number 3. Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions. The vehicle leasing sector of the huge business that is Hitachi. Another strong relationship built and ongoing into the future.

February 2014

Funder number 4. This time it's Alphabet joining the panel of funders at the ever growing MW Vehicle Contracts.

May 2014

The business is still growing, taking on more staff and once again more room is needed. Hence plans for the second extension go ahead and the team grows again.

July 2015

Funder number 5. Completing the full set. MWVC and Arval team up. All 5 funders now on board which continues to this day. Here at MWVC we are very proud of the strong relationships we have with all our funders.

July 2017

New Website, New logo and The New Look MW Vehicle Contracts. Working with new website developers Atticus Consultancy we launch a brand new modern website helping us to reach even more people

November 2017

Further investment in technology gave us our or bespoke back office system again from our partners Atticus Consultancy. Helping us deal with more customers more efficiently.

December 2018

Investing in our staff through training was a key point of 2018. Working with one of the country's leading trainers.

February 2020

Dan Clegg takes up a new role as Sales Manager and starts putting in plans which will see a new approach to working with our customers. With dedicated teams responsible for new and existing customers. Allowing for an even better level of service.

April - June 2020

Riding out Covid-19. A difficult time for everyone but thanks to lots of hard work and a sensible business approach from day 1 the business is able to survive the pandemic and comes out the other end ready for bigger and better things.

July 2020

Office Re-Fit. Our office looked fine before, but now it looks amazing! Thanks to our friends at MX Display in Derby we now have a fantastic looking office with our logo and mission statement proudly displayed.

October 2020

NEW WEBSITE - 3 years on from our last big website change, here we are again. Our new and improved website makes it even easier for our customers to find not only the deal of their dreams but helpful resources and information about all types of leasing and vehicle funding.

December 2020
