Fancy Leasing a Small Car?

Small city cars account for the majority of new car sales in the UK, and good reason. The best small cars for sale are inexpensive, practical, and easy to drive on congested modern streets; and, as modern urban cars become more advanced, streamlined, and secure, they are increasingly serving as real alternatives to bigger hatchbacks, saloons, and even SUVs. With that said, here at MWVC, we've put together two of our favourite small car leasing deals that we think you should look into before you buy or hire.

Toyota Aygo X Hatchback

The Toyota Aygo X has once again proved that there is still room for a small, economical city car on the market and that they don’t always have to be electric to be cheap and fun to drive. The Aygo X's interior is solidly fixed together, but while there are no comfortable fabrics or soft-touch plastics around the dashboard, the brightly coloured trim fittings do a great job of brightening the mood of this small car. The Aygo X also provides plenty of space for a front-seat occupant, with enough elbow room to avoid feeling cramped and enough leg and headroom for those over 6ft tall.

The Toyota Aygo X is powered by a 71bhp 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with no turbocharging or hybrid electrical support. At town speeds, there's enough pep to keep up with everyone else, but the pace is more leisurely, you have to operate the five-speed manual gearbox and change down to a lower gear periodically to maintain traction. However, there is an element of fun in doing so, especially since the clutch pedal is light and the gear shift action is quite precise.

If the Toyota Aygo X Hatchback has piqued your interest, we have a wide range of car leasing offers for you to choose from.

Hyundai i10 Hatchback

Think of watches when considering the Hyundai i10 as your next small car. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes to suit every taste and budget, so there isn’t much you can’t love about them.

The entry-level 1.0 MPi 67 three-cylinder petrol engine in the Hyundai i10 is powerful enough in town to get you away from the lights quickly. On the motorway, it can feel a little sluggish, so be prepared to work the five-speed manual gearbox hard, with 0-62mph taking on average 14.6sec. If you intend to travel longer distances, we suggest the 1.2 MPi 84. It's a 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine with 83bhp that feels more powerful lower in the rev range and revs out more willingly. Its 0-62mph time remains a relatively leisurely 12.6sec, which is increased if you opt for the automatic gearbox.

The SE trim level of the i10 includes a basic two-speaker AM/FM/DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity and a tiny 3.8in black and white display. If you opt for the SE Connect, Premium, or N Line trim levels, this is replaced by a vibrant 8.0in infotainment touchscreen and an additional pair of speakers in the back for a more robust surround sound.

Think the Hyundai i10 could be the small car you have been looking for? If yes then you’re in luck. Here at MWVC, we have a wide variety of car leasing deals on personal contract hire for you to take advantage of.
