Renault Vans Review: The Renault Trafic

Fancy leasing a Renault Traffic?

Are you considering leasing a van for your business We have some amazing Renault Van lease deals here at MWVC for you to look through. The only question is which one to select. Leasing a van for your company is a significant decision that should not be underestimated; after all, it influences the efficiency of your company. If you work on a worksite or frequently transport heavy goods and equipment, you'll need a van that can handle the job. When it comes to driving a van, you can't go wrong with a Renault Trafic.

Introduction to the Renault Trafic

For some, evolution may be a slow process, but the Renault Trafic demonstrates that a lot can be accomplished in a short period. The medium van sector is rife with vans that are outstandingly good on the road, and while the Renault Trafic wasn't always one of them, it's evolved into a fantastic van to drive. The Trafic has evolved and kept up with the times in its four decades on the road, and the latest model is no exception.

Driving Renault Trafic Vans

The Trafic's core 2.0-litre diesel engine now has four outputs rather than three, thanks to this latest update. They generate 109bhp, 129bhp, 148bhp, and 167bhp and are known as the dCi 110, dCi 130, dCi 150, and dCi 170. All models are front-wheel drive and come standard with a six-speed manual transmission. The 2.0-litre diesel engine is nicely refined and quiet enough at all speeds, regardless of which version you choose. Even on a motorway, the interior of the Trafic is relatively quiet.

The Trafic rides well on twisty UK roads and also has purposeful steering, putting it on an equal level with the Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert, and Vauxhall Vivaro

When you step inside the Trafic, you'll notice where Renault has concentrated its efforts: a new 8.0 touch screen now sits in the centre of the dashboard. The infotainment system looks very nice, and there are physical quick access buttons for frequently used functions below the screen. You can still change the temperature using the dashboard's chunky knobs rather than the touchscreen.

Worried about where you’ll store things other than work tools? In the Renault Trafic, there's storage space under the passenger seat, which you can access by lifting the seat cushion. It's a great place to stash a bag or two. Each door has a small recess appropriate for keys or coins higher up, as well as a fairly shallow lower storage area divided into three sections. However, one of its best features is its locking system, which is controlled by a hands-free keycard that allows keyless entry (and start). Furthermore, once you depart the immediate vicinity, it automatically locks the van.

Have we piqued your interest? There's a Renault Trafic for every business, from panel vans to passenger and crew cabs. You can have one of our Renault Trafic van leasing options for as little as £174.99 per month (ex. VAT)*.
